Most of the previous models of the Surface Pro, like the Pro 7 and Pro 6 LTE, utilized one of several different Intel® processors ( such as the i5 or the i7). One of the first things that Steve Goodman brought up about the Surface Pro X was that it runs a different type of CPU from the rest of the Pro line of Surface tablet/laptop hybrids.
